| Question: What is the difference between Himalayan Crystal Salt and ordinary table salt? |
| Answer: The difference has to do with the minerals, both in terms of content and the form in which the minerals are found.
Minerals are frequencies of Light, frequencies of information, and frequencies of creation for the material world in the universe in which we live.
The Earth is made of minerals. Our body is made of minerals. Minerals activate all the catalysts for enzymatic & hormonal reactions in the body. They activate the vitamins
and certain vitamins can be made from minerals. They activate all the organ structures, and are the basis of all the organ and cellular structures of the body.
Minerals are the builders of the entire organism and are thus extremely important.
Himalayan Crystal Salt is rich in essential minerals, mainly, sulfur, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorous, potassium
zinc and sodium. Given the importance of minerals in the functioning of the human system, it would make sense to use a salt rich in minerals

When it comes to the form that these minerals are found in, the minerals in Himalayan Crystal Salt, in contrast to most other salts, are in an easily absorbable form.
For a mineral to be utilized at the intracellular level, it must be in an angstrom-size (that is, so infinitesimal it is measured in units of angstroms),
and these particles must be completely water-soluble. It is only the ionic form, or angstrom-size level, of minerals that can enter the cells and activate the proper DNA
structures to actuate the guiding frequencies for the function of the body. An angstrom (named after Johan Angstrom) is one-thousandth of a micron, and one-millionth of a meter.
The significance of this information is that almost all the salts and even mineral supplements on the market are larger than micron sizes. Particles that are micron in size and larger will be absorbed by the blood,
but they are too large to be absorbed intra-cellularly and inside the nucleus. These larger forms stay in the bloodstream, and eventually become deposited in various tissue locations.
Angstrom-size particles travel through and into the cells, and if the body doesn’t need them,
they will simply discharge them with no buildup of the minerals to create potential toxicity in the tissues.
This is one reason why we can use Himalayan Crystal Salt for our bodies with amazing results, because it is in ionic angstrom-size form.
If salt isn’t in the ionic-angstrom form, we simply aren’t able to absorb minerals into our bodies. Table salt (straight sodium chloride) as well as any heated salt is covalently bonded.
It is not available for use in the body and can cause a toxic build-up. This may also potentially apply to salts that are sun dried.

| Question: Can Himalayan Crystal Salt be used by people who experience high blood pressure? |
| Answer: Research has found that using Himalayan Crystal Salt can help to balance one's blood pressure.
As discussed in the previous answer, the minerals in Himalayan Crystal Salt are angstrom size. This means that the minerals
can move into the cells easily and do not remain in the blood stream increasing the blood pressure.
The proportions of potassium and sodium are important when it comes to blood pressure, as well as in all the body cells to
maintain and restore normal cell membrane, osmosis, and electrical polarization across the cell membrane.
If either mineral is out of balance, the cell permeability and electricity are compromised, and the ability
of cells to absorb nutrients and excrete waste materials is limited. The potassium and sodium levels of Himalayan Crystal Salt help to maintain the potassium-sodium balance,
while common table salt throws off the potassium-sodium balance.

| Question: Where does Himalayan Crystal Salt come from? |
| Answer: Universal Vision sources our Himalayan Crystal Salt from the Salt Range of the sub Himalayan region.
The salt deposits which remained in the area from the primal ocean which once covered the area were embedded in the rock and through tremendous pressure the
salt has crystallized into the form in which we find it today. One theory is that when the Himalayas were created, the sea bed was similarly elevated to above ground level and this
gave rise to the Salt Range.
The salt has been dormant in the earth for millions of years. Legend has it that the salt of this region was discovered by the horses of Alexander the Great's soldiers.
Some soldiers stopped for a rest and their horses started licking the rocks. They soon realised that the horses were enjoying the minerals from the salt there. |
| Question: What is the effect of mining the salt on the earth and is the salt extracted sustainably? |
| Answer: The facts are that the salt comes from the earth and that the method of extraction is mining. It is not hand harvested. Mining the salt is the most efficient way of extracting what is in essence a crystalline and structured substance.
We are exploring the fact that salt can grow and, while we have been assured that there is "over one thousand years worth of supply", at this point do not have any factual answers on how quickly the salt can replenish.
One feels that the earth is providing us this wonderful healing resource at this time for a reason. Besides the many physical health benefits, perhaps the
awareness that the salt can create will help to reconnect people with the earth again. Like everything, the salt holds and carries a specific vibration
and perhaps we can benefit from consuming this substance with awareness so that we strengthen our connection with the earth.
